I've been a professional editor since 2017, working with fiction authors from around the world. I primarily work with crime, thrillers, mysteries, fantasy, and women's fiction.

I hold a Certificate in Editing and Proofreading recognised by the International Approval and Registration Centre (IARC), and edit manuscripts written in both US and UK English.

I believe good editing is about more than correcting mistakes. It's about understanding what an author is trying to achieve, offering honest, constructive feedback, and helping them strengthen their story without losing their individual voice.

I'm approachable, and genuinely enjoy working with authors throughout the editing process.

Alongside editing, I offer one-on-one book coaching, which I like to describe as a form of developmental editing while you're still writing. We work through your manuscript as it develops, building your writing skills, strengthening each chapter, brainstorming ideas, and tackling problems along the way. It's a chance to receive personalised feedback and guidance while gaining confidence in your writing.

I also host writing retreats in Bali and New Zealand, giving authors the opportunity to step away from everyday distractions and focus on their manuscripts. With small groups, practical workshops, individual guidance, and dedicated writing time, my retreats are designed to help writers develop their skills, make progress on their manuscripts, and connect with other authors.

I'm proud to have edited award-winning fiction, including two novels that received First Place for Best Published Fiction at Writer Con, with one author going on to become a finalist in the Impact International Book Awards.

Over the years, I've had the opportunity to work with Grim Oak Press, proofreading for books by bestselling authors, including Terry Brooks, Tad Williams, Megan Lindholm, and David Eddings.
